Makola Ana

I wanted to paint a piece filled with bold color and use more of my Ankara fabric to make a dress. These collage pieces have been my faves to make this year. Once I painted the background,I added the cut outs from the fabric, but it felt like something was missing. I decided to paint some of the petals the same bright pink from the background and Voila! She became the bell of the ball.I posted the process on my social media, then asked for feedback on naming her.
